Multiple DeKalb County School District (DCSD) schools outperformed state scores on at least one of the 2025 College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI) components, according to a recent announcement from the district.

This includes students’ results in English language arts (ELA), mathematics, science, and social studies, along with outcomes in closing achievement gaps, student growth, student attendance, students succeeding in “beyond-the-core” instruction, accelerated enrollment, career pathway completion, and other college and career readiness measures.

The update on the school system’s CCRPI scores comes after recent strides in ACT scores and the district’s latest graduation rate of 82 percent, the highest in its history. Thirty-seven DCSD schools’ scores surpassed the state’s highest content mastery score of 69 or above. Five DCSD schools achieved a perfect score of 100 in content mastery, which assesses whether students are achieving the level of understanding necessary to be prepared for the next grade, college, or career.

“I am incredibly proud of the remarkable gains our students, teachers, and staff have achieved,” Interim Superintendent Norman C. Sauce said in a written statement. “These results reflect the unwavering dedication and hard work of our entire DeKalb County School District community. These achievements are a powerful testament to our shared Pre-K through grade 12 commitments towards ensuring every student is prepared for the next grade level and beyond graduation.”

The CCRPI comprises five components: content mastery, progress, closing gaps, readiness, and, for high schools, graduation rate.

The table below displays the 28 schools that garnered double-digit gains in at least one of the CCRPI components.
