Trees Atlanta’s Front Yard Tree Program returns to Brookhaven for another year, according to a release from the city.
In this partnership, homeowners can choose between five varieties measuring between six and eight feet tall: White oak, Overcup oak, Willow oak, Bald cypress and sycamore.
Trees Atlanta will plant the tree and provide the initial mulching and watering and include a two-year replacement guarantee, the release said.
Brookhaven has participated in the program since 2022.
Several other cities, including Dunwoody, Doraville, Decatur, Sandy Springs, and Chamblee, are part of the Front Yard Tree Program. Tucker joined in 2025.
Interested residents can submit their application through February 2026, with planting season running from November through March 2026. Residents can apply online at Trees Atlanta and select “Brookhaven,” while quantities last.
